Hannah Becquante
Hannah Becquante (b. 1996, Paris) is a French artist whose practice is informed by her studies in applied arts, stone sculpture, and the restoration of historic monuments. Working across sculpture, mosaics, reliefs, and architectural fragments, she explores memory, materiality, and the passage of time through forms that evoke archaeological remains and suspended narratives. Her works transform absence, erosion, and fragmentation into poetic spatial compositions, where historical references intersect with contemporary sensibilities. Since 2022, she has collaborated with Félix Taburet as an artistic duo, creating installations that blur the boundaries between sculpture, image, and architecture while inviting viewers to experience memory as fluid and continually reconstructed. She lives and works in Paris.
