Marcus Nelson
Marcus Nelson (b. 1997, Oxford, UK) is a British artist currently based in Berlin. Working predominantly in painting and installation, Nelson’s practice engages with themes of violence and physical performance that take place within enclosed spaces such as arenas, and theatres. His confrontational works strive to unearth emotional truth, exposing societies’ hidden vulnerabilities while exploring the savage aspects of human nature. Nelson graded from Central Saint Martins School of Art, London.
