Lilo Klinkenberg
Lilo Klinkenberg is a German floral artist and designer born and based in Berlin. Working across botanical sculpture, installation, and spatial design, she transforms organic materials into compositions that blur the boundaries between nature, architecture, and the surreal.
Originally trained in fashion design at the Berlin University of the Arts, Klinkenberg became increasingly interested in working beyond the scale of the human body. Her practice developed through experiments with flowers, moss, branches, and other botanical materials, which she shapes, preserves, paints, and combines with wax, textiles, and constructed elements. Moving between abstraction and recognizable natural forms, her works explore contrasts between softness and structure, vitality and decay, permanence and transformation.
In 2018, she founded Studio Lilo, through which she produces installations for exhibitions, fashion shows, fairs, events, film, and photography. She has collaborated internationally with clients including Flos, Cartier, Loewe, Jil Sander, and Google.
