ZWISCHEN BÄUMEN: Group Show - Villa Schöningen

PASSAGE presents ZWISCHEN BÄUMEN, an exhibition centred on the forest motif, bringing together approximately 90 works by 60 artists spanning the last three centuries.

Paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures come together in an exploration of nature, atmosphere and the workings of imagination.

Held at Villa Schöningen, nestled among the parklands and lakes of Potsdam, the exhibition unfolds in a setting that resonates with its subject, as the landscape beyond the galleries shifts through the seasons and art enters into quiet dialogue with nature.

ZWISCHEN BÄUMEN makes no argument and offers no thesis. Free from conceptual or political framing, it invites a slower way of looking, one shaped by beauty, reflection and contemplation. At a time of relentless noise, the exhibition returns to something older and more essential: the simple experience of standing among the trees.
